My binder of negatives is growing, but I'm finding that some genres of photography I practice are better suited to high resolution colour raw files, so I've decided to pick up my Leica M again and use that for colour work where appropriate.Read More
Went on another small hike up at Mount Ngungun this morning. Feels great to be getting back out of the city every week or so.
With a few weeks break from street photography comes some subtle changes in my routine. I've been using VSCO's Kodak Portra 400 for any colour photography for a while, but I've been feeling like I needed something different so today I'm giving their Fuji 800Z colour film preset a go with a few pictures. It's a little less "clean" than Portra 400 and has an interesting feel. What do you think?
I haven't been on a hike for months so it was great to get out in the open and away from the city (the State Forest near Lake Somerset). This is a rare colour post. I've never been able to reconcile black and white with the colours and shapes of nature.
