Like A Frame 6.3 Now Translated To 15 Different Languages
I began this project in March of 2019 when I realised that no app like it existed. I just wanted to frame my photos in a fully customisable way, or simply round off the corners every so slightly to emulate a 35mm film exposure. Now six years later, I’ve spent a couple of weeks working on translating my photo framing app Like A Frame into 15 different languages from across Europe, Asia and the Middle East (16 including English of course!). It can be found on the iOS App Store here.
These include:
Hindi
Arabic
Turkish
Spanish
French
Italian
German
Portugese
Vietnamese
Indonesian
Japanese
Korean
Chinese (Simplified)
Chinese (Traditional)
Dutch
Each language is fully localised on the App Store and app itself and I’m super proud of how far the project has come from its early days with simple framing options right through to shadows, lighting, text layers and transparent sticker layers. It’s been a labour of love for me over the years and has taught me a lot about app development, graphics rendering and user interface design.
Like A Frame remains free for the first 7-days and is only $2.99 AUD for a lifetime license!
Here are some examples of the app in various languages. All photographs used in these examples are mine.
