Read MoreNat and I headed south to Mount Greville to do some semblence of a sunrise ascent up the mountain with our cameras but we were met with cloudy skies and fleeting rays of sunlight. The softer quality of the light led us to the smaller details amongst the plants and rocks.

I put it down for almost a year before finally finishing the painting on September 3rd, 2021! In total, the painting took over 10 straight hours of work and 30,000 strokes in Procreate for iPad Pro using an Apple Pencil 2.
